Freehold condominiums are increasingly scarce in Singapore as the State releases less freehold residential land each decade. There is no land lease decay, ownership is in perpetuity and resale premiums over leasehold equivalents are well-documented — typically 10–20% in comparable locations. If you are buying to hold generationally, freehold is the cleaner long-term choice.
